Actress Kate Winslet has won a Bambi award for best international actress for her role in German made Oscar winning film The Reader.
The movie The Reader is based on a novel by German author Bernhard Schlink. He is always trying to find ways to come back to Germany. The Bambi awards are the same as the Emmy awards devoting achievement in film, television, music and sports. The awards also went to fashion designer Wolfgang Joop. Former chancellor Helmut Kohl was privileged with a Millennium Bambi on 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.Kohl told one cannot expect anything more than peace.
